Chris also represents the Castleland Ward on the Vale of Glamorgan Council, is the Cabinet Member for Social Care and Health and Schools and a member of the Cardiff and Vale Local Health Board

Elin Llŷr also joins the team, following over 6 years working with Dafydd Elis Thomas and Helen Mary Jones on political campaigning and communications, and will be bringing her experience in event organising, marketing and client relations to the growing Deryn team.

Nerys Evans, Director of Deryn said:

We're investing in growth now to service the signficant number of clients who have joined our roster, and will be looking to grow again in 6 months. We've increased turnover by 50% this year, and expect to grow again next year, focusing on our speciallist government relations offer, but also working with more clients on strategic change.

It’s heartening to see an increasing number of UK wide and International organisations place greater value on engaging with devolved politics and we’re looking forward to further growth over the coming year

Our clients benefit from our direct experience working in government and politics, and we are focusing heavily in coming months on sharing our expertise regarding the new National Assembly to be elected in May 2016.

We’re delighted that Chris and Elin have joined Deryn, and we’re already benefitting from their experience, knowledge and insight. In addition to increasing the team, we’ve gained a number of significant new clients over the last few months including S4C, IQE, Smart Energy and Hospices UK.
